Helpchat raises Rs.100 cr Series B to fund rapid growth

New Delhi, India – May 18, 2014: Akosha, a messaging platform for all consumer-to-business interactions, today announced that Sequoia is leading a new Rs.100 crore Series B round. Delhi’s biggest Android Hackathon (yet) …by Akosha

If not the first, it definitely was the biggest Androidathon that took place in Delhi, on July 19th and 20th, 2014 at 91 Springboard. It was organised by Akosha and we were proud to have it sponsored by Sequoia Capital, NASSCOM (10000 Startups), Groupon, Healthkart, Postergully and PayTM. Even more awesome was the part that more than 110 techies from all over Delhi participated in it, making the event a complete success. The basic theme was surrounding customer service wherein 110 participants were divided into 25 teams with each coming up with an ‘idea’. Eventually, only 3 made it to the top spot with Team ‘Jarvis’ being the first, Team ‘OSC’ coming second and Team ‘TeamUp’ taking the third place. […]
